About Me

For more than 20 years, I worked with people and organisations navigating complex change in global corporate environments, including PeopleSoft, Oracle and Workday.

That work taught me to listen carefully, look beyond the obvious explanation, and find clarity within complexity.

But I became increasingly interested in a very human question.

"How can we understand something completely, know we're capable, and yet still react as though something entirely different were true?"

We can understand the pattern. Know why it's there. Know what we'd rather do.

Yet in the moment, the body can respond before conscious thinking catches up.

That question eventually led me from the purely Clarity nature of thought-based work to include somatic inquiry.

I discovered that bringing the body into the conversation can reveal information that thinking alone may miss. Sensations, emotions, and impulses can help us notice what is shaping a reaction beneath the familiar story and open up fresh insight, different choices, and new ways of responding.

Today, through Somatic Clarity Coaching, I bring these perspectives together.

My role isn't to tell you what's wrong or give you another version of yourself to work towards. I work alongside you, paying close attention to what is happening in the moment and helping you access your own information, insight and clarity.

Because underneath the particular challenge that brings someone to coaching, I often find something deeper begins to change: "the relationship they have with themselves."

And that can influence far more than one problem.

It can mean clearer thinking when things get difficult. Greater trust in your own decisions. More honest conversations and boundaries. Increased resilience and creativity. Less automatic reacting. And more freedom to respond in ways that reflect what you genuinely think, feel and want.

Experience behind the work

Before creating Somatic Clarity, my career spanned global enterprise technology, entrepreneurship and complex organisational change.

My professional development includes transformational coaching, Clarity Coaching and Train the Trainer with Jamie Smart, Somatic Stress Release™ through The Embody Lab, and ongoing three-year Somatic Experiencing® training.

Alongside this, meditation and my exploration of energy-based practices have deepened my awareness of subtle changes in the body, presence, and relational space.

All of these experiences inform how I work, but the focus isn't my experience.
