PRIVACY POLICY FOR
COACHMEFREE.COM

We know that you care about your personal data and how it is used, and we want you to trust that CoachMeFree.com uses your personal data carefully. This Privacy Notice will help you understand what personal data we collect, why we collect it and what we do with it.

Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our privacy practices and let us know if you have any questions by submitting a request through the “Contact Us” form on our website.

By using our Services, you understand that we will collect and use your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

  1. What personal data is being collected?

Personal data means any information that can be used to identify directly or indirectly a specific individual.

Coaches information that we keep is simply the information that you enter about yourself, including your email address. If you do not enter any information, clients are unlikely to contact you.

Clients information that we keep is your name and email address, and each of the introductory messages that you send to a coach.

Email addresses are never shared or given to anyone, unless a government data request is made through lawful means, for lawful purposes.

  2. Ways in which we collect your personal data

We only collect the personal data that you give us directly. No personal data is collected from elsewhere on the internet.

If you are a life coach, we collect personal data you provide us when you sign up and complete the registration form, create/edit your coach profile, post a testimonial sent by a client, post in the forum and when you contact us by email or via the contact us page.

If you are a client looking for a coach, we collect personal data you provide us when you complete the contact form which is sent to the coach, when you fill out the registration form, when you post a testimonial and when you contact us by email or via the contact us page.

We do not collect or store any other types of personal data.

We use cookies, which are text files containing small amounts of information that are downloaded on your device, so that you are identified as logged in, or not logged in. This information is stored on your computer. We do not keep cookies, they are on your computer, and can only be accessed when you are connected to CoachMeFree.com, by CoachMeFree.com.

We also use Google, as many sites do, to track movement without any idea of who you are, through our site. This enables us to spot issues with the site, and popularity of pages, or other search engine related issues. We can also measure and collect session information, including page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. All of this information does not contain any personally identifiable information.

We collect IP addresses, which is the address of your internet supplier that you, and probably thousands of other people with the same internet supplier in your area, use to connect to the internet.

We also connect information about the browser that you are using.

  3. If you are using our site to contact a Life Coach

We only use the personal information you enter into the contact form to produce a one-time email which is sent to the life coach you've selected, and/or the information you provide to us via the registration form. Registration is optional. You may contact a coach without registering, by only completing the contact form which is sent to the coach.

The first enquiry from you is sent to the coach, when you enter your message on the website. That message is passed on to the coach, together with your email address. We store the date and time of the message, the client sending the message, and the coach who the message is addressed to. The content of the message is not stored on our system.

When the coach receives your email, they must reply to you directly, so any consequent emails between you and your coach never come to site, and so are not saved by us.

For your convenience, a note is saved on the website to say who has sent the first message to a coach, and when. But no further details are there.

This list is available to both coaches and clients, for their own accounts only, and can be seen when you login.

If you correspond with us via Contact Us page or via email, we may use this information to improve our service or to communicate with you.

  4. If you register with our site as a Life Coach

When you join our directory as a life coach, we will use your personal information to publicly display on the website for prospective coaching clients to see. We may also display your information on various social media sites. All of the information that you voluntarily submit to the website may be publicly displayed.

You can amend this information at any time by logging in and editing your profile.

You can also hide your information at any time, by logging in and editing your profile, to make it invisible to clients. Your data will not be changed, just hidden, if perhaps you want a break for any reason. You can log back in at any time and make your profile visible to clients.

We may use your Personal Data to contact you with important information about your membership and marketing/promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by contacting us.

The first enquiry from a prospective client is sent to you via email, when the client enters their message on the website. That message is passed on to you, together with client’s email address. We keep a record of the date and time of the email, together with the email address of the client who sent it, and you can consult this list at any time by logging in. However, the content of the message is not stored on our system.

This list is available to both coaches and clients, for their own accounts only, and can be seen when you login.

When you receive the email with the first message, clicking reply will send your message direct to the client. This will use your regular email system -  We have no idea what message you send to the client - we do not even know whether you replied or not.

If you correspond with us via Contact Us page or via email, we may use this information to improve our service or to communicate with you.

  5. How do we protect your personal data?

We take the security of your personal data very seriously. Our aim is not to be intrusive, and we will not ask for irrelevant or unnecessary information.

We need your email address to send you messages. But we do not give out your email address to anyone else, nor is it given to clients. Messages from clients are passed to you, and it is for you to take due diligence, and reply, or not reply. The client can only contact you via the website, and never gets your email address, until you choose to respond to the client via your own email system.

We take every effort to protect your personal data from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Our measures include implementing appropriate access controls, investing in the latest Information Security Capabilities to protect the IT environments we leverage.

  6. How long do we keep your personal data for?

We will keep your personal data until you request that we delete your data.

You have right to request that we delete your data. If you wish to delete the personal data we hold about you, please let us know by submitting a request through the “Contact Us” form.

  7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

From time to time we may make changes to this document without notice, so please review it frequently.

  8. Disclosure of Information

Your personal data is never shared or given to anyone, unless a government data request is made through lawful means, for lawful purposes.

We reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law, or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding or court order.

We will never share your personal information, other than information which you give for your profile page, with any third parties. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

  9. How do you contact us?

You can contact us by sending an e-mail or submitting a request through the “Contact Us” form on our website.
