Hi, I'm Catherine, a qualified coach with an Accredited Diploma in Transformative Coaching from the Animas Centre for Coaching. My approach is flexible and integrated and I draw on a range of schools of thought, including psychological, humanistic and holistic principles, depending on what best serves my client.
My professional background is in marketing and I spent 12 years working for large financial services organisations in the City of London. My roles involved working alongside global distribution teams, planning and delivering marketing strategies that were was closely aligned with sales objectives. The journey into coaching began during a career transition as a result of redundancy: overwhelmed with the volume of decisions I needed to make – and the responsibilities and considerations informing each of those decisions – coaching provided me with a valuable space to reflect, better understand my values, and become clearer on the outcomes I wanted. Ultimately, this led me to take a step away from the corporate world and begin working for myself, a decision that is helping me work towards a better work-life balance as a parent of two young children. As I put these changes into practice, coaching continues to provide me with the opportunity to maintain momentum, hold myself accountable and build confidence and emotional resilience.
Having experienced the profound effect of coaching for myself, I chose to train as a coach to support others going through periods of transition and looking to make positive changes. I offer one-to-one sessions, both online and in-person, in South East or Central London.
