Maybe It Wasn’t Luck

Three years ago, I went alone to a concert.

I almost didn’t go at all.
I remember standing before leaving home, overthinking everything and feeling how much easier it would be to just stay in.

But I went anyway.

At some point during the concert, I noticed another girl standing nearby — alone too.

And I had this tiny thought:
“Maybe I should say hi.”

Such a small moment.
And still, I almost stayed silent.

But something inside me said: just do it.

So I did.

Today, she is one of my best friends.

And honestly, moments like this make me wonder how often life changes in the quietest, smallest ways.

Not through huge plans or perfect timing.
But through one moment of courage.
One decision to stay open.
One step outside of fear.

I think many of us already carry the answers we are searching for within ourselves.
But stress, fear, overthinking, and the noise of everyday life can make us disconnect from that inner voice.

This is one of the reasons why coaching became so meaningful to me.

Sometimes we don’t need someone to tell us what to do.
Sometimes we simply need space to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and hear what has been there all along.

And maybe there’s already something in your life quietly asking you for one small brave step too.

P.S. This reflection was inspired by an episode of The Mel Robbins Podcast about luck and openness, which I truly loved listening to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvEsWpiT8WQ
