That might sound direct
But in coaching, it comes up again and again
People say they feel stuck
unsure
unclear about what to do next
But when we slow things down
and really look at it
That’s rarely the full picture
Because more often than not
They already know
They’ve thought about the step
They’ve come back to the decision
They’ve had the same idea more than once
It’s not new
What’s actually happening is something quieter
Hesitation
Doubt
Overthinking
And often
avoiding the step that feels uncomfortable
That might look like:
waiting for the right time
telling yourself you need more clarity
convincing yourself you’re not ready yet
But underneath all of that
There’s usually a knowing
And this is where people stay stuck
Not because they’re incapable
But because knowing and doing are not the same thing
That gap can feel bigger than it should be
Especially when you’re doing it alone
This is where coaching changes things
Not by giving you answers
But by helping you act on what you already know
By creating space to think clearly
and then gently holding you to the next step
Even when part of you wants to pull back
It’s not about pressure
or forcing yourself forward
But it is about movement
Because at some point
something has to shift
