What if I told you confidence comes after action - not before?

So many women I work with tell me the same thing:

“I just don’t feel confident enough yet - maybe once I’ve done X, Y, Z…”

But the truth is, that confidence you’re waiting for?
It’s not a prerequisite. It’s a result.
There’s even a name for it: the confidence-competence loop.

And it’s a bit of a game-changer.

Here’s how it works:

• Action builds competence - When you take even a small step, you start gaining experience, learning what works (and what doesn’t), and developing your skills.
• Competence builds confidence - You start thinking, “Okay, maybe I can do this.” That sense of capability grows.
• Confidence drives more action - Now that you feel a bit more solid, you're more willing to try the next thing.

And the loop continues...

The biggest myth? That you need to feel confident before you act.
In reality, if you wait for confidence to show up first, you might never get started.

That’s where coaching can make such a difference.

When I work with women in transitions - changing careers or launching businesses - we don’t wait around for confidence to show up.

We build it. One tiny, doable step at a time.

So doable, it’s almost impossible not to take it.

You don’t need a masterplan. You don’t need to feel ready.

You just need one small step - and someone in your corner while you take it.

• Confidence isn’t something you find.
• It’s something you build.

If this sounds familiar and you’d like to explore how coaching could help you take that first (or next) step, send me a message or book a free consultation via this link - https://calendar.app.google/CjmA9u28W2q7jWns8

Let’s chat about how to get things moving (without waiting for “ready”).
