Before I coached leaders, I was one.
I spent over twenty years in HR and people leadership in the NHS with the last decade at senior and executive level, including five years as a Board-level People Director. In that role I worked alongside CEOs, chaired committees, and carried the same weight of accountability that my senior clients carry now. I also led on workforce, culture and leadership development across a complex, multi-organisation system. I understand how organisations work - the politics, the pressure, and what leadership actually costs.
I also know what it is like to be in a room and wonder whether you truly belong there. I know the effort of working twice as hard to prove you deserve your seat. I know what it feels like when your potential is visible to others before it is visible to you and how much that gap costs.
Those experiences are not separate from my coaching. They are why I do it.
I work with two groups of leaders. Senior women navigating the weight, complexity and identity shifts of executive leadership; those stepping up, under pressure, stuck, or figuring out who they are becoming. And leaders who are ready, capable, and facing barriers to progression that have nothing to do with their ability; those who keep being overlooked, and are ready to name that, navigate it, and lead from exactly where they are.
I am currently completing my ICF Professional Coaching Diploma with Optimus Coach Academy (October 2026), working to professional standards with full supervision throughout. I am FCIPD qualified and hold a Master's degree in Human Resources (Distinction).

I work with two groups of leaders.
Senior leaders; particularly senior women or those facing barriers to leadership; stepping into executive roles, deepening their leadership, or navigating the defining moments of a career: transition, pressure, being stuck, or evolving into the leader they want to become.
Aspirant and new leaders facing barriers; those who are strong, capable, and keep hitting a ceiling that has nothing to do with their ability. The barrier is structural. The work is real.
My background is over twenty years in HR and people leadership in the NHS, including five years as a Board-level People Director working alongside CEOs and executive teams. I bring lived experience to every conversation; not theory, but the reality of how leadership works from the inside.
