Live life better - Navigate work challenges confidently & align your career with who you are.
Struggling with a work issue, feeling overwhelmed, or ready for change?
Work is a huge part of our lives. It can be a major source of stress but it can also bring reward, satisfaction, and self-esteem. Improving how you feel at work will improve your health and whole life.
I can help you:
• Make sense of work challenges & deal with them confidently.
• Know what you really want next & take practical steps to get there.
This may mean:
• Finding calm in the overwhelm
• Gaining confidence (or regaining it where you have been beaten down)
• Improving work relationships
• Navigating work challenges
• Adapting to constant change
• Working out your next career move and making the steps to get there
• Breaking habits holding you back
• Being able to be yourself in a world that doesn’t understand you
• Managing chronic pain at work
A different kind of coaching - I don’t offer a “five-step plan to becoming a millionaire” (sorry). What I do offer:
• Deep listening; I see you
• A safe, supportive space
• A thoughtful process, tailored to you, to help you find the outcome that fits with who you are.
Everyone is different. Everyone deserves to live life better.
My approach is founded on neuroscience and includes positive psychology, transactional analysis, cognitive approaches and somatics, allowing me to support you in a truly holistic way.
I offer coaching via Teams, or if you live in Bracknell, Berkshire we can meet for a walk or at a cafe.
I have over 30 years work experience, mostly working for large corporations but also a few years working for Local Government and the NHS. My corporate career has given me experience across a range of functions (including legal, governance, trustee boards, finance and service delivery). I'm an experienced manager and mentor.
I’ve experienced
• Trying to fit into an ever changing and increasingly demanding corporate agenda.
• Having to deliver demanding projects with unrealistic timescales.
• Corporate politics.
• Being different and my value not being seen or recognised.
• The challenges of managing employees.
Eventually I experienced chronic pain and my employer’s approach in that situation eventually led to me leaving and deciding to switch careers. Starting a new career from scratch was scary but ultimately worth it.
Qualifications: I am currently completing a Professional Diploma in Coaching (Optimus Coach Academy), accredited by leading coaching bodies. First Class degree in Maths & Psychology
