About Me

Hi, my name is Annelies, and I am a Therapeutic Coach in the final year of my training.

Alongside my coaching training, I work as a qualified teacher of Dutch Language and Literature. Working with people has always been at the heart of my professional life, and I have developed a strong ability to listen, ask meaningful questions, and create a safe and supportive environment where people feel comfortable sharing their experiences.

I believe that meaningful change starts with feeling truly heard and understood. My role as a coach is not to tell you what to do, but to support you in exploring your thoughts, emotions, and patterns, so that you can gain new insights and find your own way forward.

I offer a warm, respectful, and personalised approach. Every person is different, and I believe coaching works best when there is trust, openness, and a genuine connection between coach and client. My aim is to help you create positive and lasting change, so you can feel calmer, more confident, and more balanced in your daily life.

As part of the final year of my Therapeutic Coaching training, I am currently offering a limited number of complimentary coaching sessions for people who would like support with personal growth and positive change in their life.

Sometimes we know we want something to be different, but we are not always sure how to move forward. Therapeutic Coaching offers a safe and supportive space to explore what is going on, gain new insights, and create meaningful change.

WHAT CAN I SUPPORT YOU WITH?

Therapeutic Coaching may be helpful if you are experiencing:
• Stress or feeling overwhelmed
• Mild anxiety
• Low confidence or self-esteem
• Overthinking
• Unhelpful thought patterns
• Fears or limiting beliefs
• Feeling stuck in recurring patterns
• A desire for more clarity, balance, or personal growth

Together, we will explore what is happening beneath the surface, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and work towards creating new perspectives and possibilities.

In my sessions, I draw on a range of approaches, including:
• Life Coaching
• Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
• Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/tapping)
• Hypnotherapy
• Mindfulness
But, rather than simply applying techniques, my focus is on creating a genuine coaching relationship where your experiences, goals, and wellbeing are central. The techniques we use will always be tailored to your individual needs and the goals you would like to work towards.

HOW IT WORKS

We start with a discovery call to explore what you would like support with and to see whether we are a good fit to work together.
If we decide to continue, you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire and sign a client agreement before we begin. This helps me understand your situation better and ensures that the coaching process is appropriate for your needs.

We will then have a series of 3–6 online coaching sessions, each lasting approximately one hour via Microsoft Teams.
These sessions are currently offered free of charge as part of my final year of Therapeutic Coaching training.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND SUITABILITY

Your privacy is very important to me. Everything you share during our sessions will be treated confidentially. As part of my training, I may discuss aspects of our work anonymously with my supervisors to continue developing my coaching skills and to ensure the best possible support for you.

Therapeutic Coaching is suitable for personal development and everyday emotional challenges. It is not a replacement for psychological or psychiatric treatment. At this stage of my training, I am not able to support people with more complex or clinically diagnosed mental health conditions, such as addiction, OCD, PTSD, clinical depression, or other diagnosed disorders. If I believe another form of support would better meet your needs, I will always be open and honest about this and encourage you to explore the most appropriate options.
