After feeling a bit 'stuck' towards the end of last year, I decided to embark on a journey of self-reflection and self-development. This not only helped me feel less 'stuck', but also led to some important realisations. One of these was my desire to help others on their own journeys of self-reflection and self-development. This is why I am now training to be a transformative coach with the wonderful Animas Centre for Coaching!
As a coach in training, I am building up my coaching experience and looking for practice clients to help me apply what I have been learning over the past few months. In return, I am offering free coaching sessions to a limited number of people for a limited time.
You might be wondering, what is coaching? According to Animas, 'coaching provides a non-judgmental, open, collaborative, and confidential space between coach and client — focusing on the client’s own thoughts, challenges, outcomes, and goals.' Transformative coaching, in particular, seeks to explore our personal beliefs and values and how these shape our experiences and behaviours. Coaching enables a journey of self-exploration, which can lead to greater self-awareness and the ability to examine and reshape many areas of life.
How could coaching help you? Whether you are seeking change or more clarity and focus in your career, health, relationships, or any other area, coaching could help you achieve this. As your coach, I will provide you with a confidential space to explore your current challenges and goals, and I will also help you with the following:
• Goal Setting: Helping you clarify what you want and define specific, achievable goals.
• Accountability: Being your accountability partner to help you stay on track by providing encouragement and holding you accountable for your actions.
• Clarity and Focus: Helping you gain clarity about your values, strengths, and priorities.
• Skill Building: Offering strategies for improving confidence, communication, decision-making, time management, and more.
• Action and Results: Supporting you in moving forward, overcoming obstacles, and creating tangible outcomes.
