About Me

Hello!

My name is Sarah, from the wondrous land of Ireland. I am a postgraduate student studying Psychology and I trained over two years ago with the Institute of Coaching Studies. I am also currently studying Expressive Arts Therapy.

The career move from a corporate setting to a creative and psychological working environment sparks a deep passion within me, one which has been evolving for many years - to support others to live a regenerative, healthy and fulfilling life. Over the last few years I have travelled and lived in different countries, leaving the mundanity and familiarity of routine life to explore foreign landscapes - both outside of and within myself. Through reaching beyond my comfort zone and immersing myself in a wide range of environments - it struck me that establishing and maintaining deep relationships is the pinnacle factor to a joyous life.

What also struck me is how to enjoy adventure without overwhelm, as a sensitive person I have been taught to 'push through' which has led to multiple burn outs. I have learnt to prioritise self-care, boundary setting and rest to maintain good physical/mental health.

I am a people-focused individual, both through interactions and observations. The human experience inspires and intrigues me - how we function, how we relate, how we grow, how we fall, how we recover, how we love, how we hate. In the complexity of all of this, is our desire to deeply connect to that which surrounds us.

Authenticity is an aspect of life I have been focusing on strongly, which has led me to transformative breakthroughs and enabled me to start carving a life path which feels aligned and serves my greater purpose. Before this shift I suffered from physical/mental/spiritual burnout, was working in a sales job which I deeply disliked and was clinging to misaligned relationships. My self-worth and confidence was extremely low and I felt exhausted and depressed. The change required me to get comfortable with the uncomfortable and to pick apart the elements of my life which weren't working and I discovered that after the breakdown came the breakthrough.

My vision is to help anyone who is struggling to relate authentically to their inner and outer worlds. Who feel distant from their desires, needs and passions. Who feel like a passive observer of their own life rather than an active participant. Who are afraid to take action and change their circumstance. Who are struggling to connect with others, and to themselves.

Specialism

My chosen areas of speciality primarily revolve around the interpersonal and intrapersonal nature of our lives. How we choose to connect to others, and how we choose to connect to ourselves. The constant dance between the external and internal.

Often, relationships present us with an honest mirror to the relationship we have with ourselves. The moment we can see how interconnected our internal experience is with our external circumstance, is the moment we can create transformative change in our lives. There is an art to relating with the world around us, and there are techniques we can use to deepen bonds - creating healthy, fulfilling and meaningful connections.

Life can be viewed in the form of phases, each phase carrying a unique teaching. As humans, we are constantly growing and evolving. When we are aligned on our path, we can move through such phases with joy, ease and confidence. However, when we are not acting from a place of alignment or self-belief our path can become stagnant and we can feel stuck, anxious and hopeless.

My aim is to help you to move through the phases life will inevitably deal you with a sense of courage, passion and confidence.
