Everyone of us has certain beliefs they take to be true. Some of our beliefs were unconciously picked up during childhood, and others are conscious decisions we made to accept these beliefs to be true.

During childhood, we take on other peoples' beliefs, for example our parents, sibblings, and other family members who were frequently present during our early development, as our own without questioning them.

Amongst others, beliefs are about religion, culture, behaviour, sports teams, political views, etc, which we use as a basis to determine right and wrong.

When we grew up, most of us still didn't question these beliefs, which in turn manifested in our life experiences to be true.

Our beliefs seem true to us because our brain constantly looks for confirmation for these beliefs. This is called the confirmation bias. When the brain looks for something, it will surely find it, and that's how it works on keeping you safe and happy/contented.

Beliefs can be a great way to change your reality. Why do I say this? Imagine you believe 100% with no hesitation at all in your body that you will be a succesful business owner, then guess what, you'll start taking the right action toward this belief.

Similary to how you speak or think to yourself. When the mind believes what you speak and think, reality will turn out to be that way, positive or negative.

For intstance, the common belief that Monday is the most challenging day of the week. When you believe this to be true to you too, you'll see how you'll even make no effort to make it simpler, easier, or try to be happier for yourself on this day. And so it happens that many things go wrong on this particular day.

Another example is the belief that everything is happening to 'me', the victim mindset. Because one believes this to be true with no doubts, one usually with not even try to look for reasons to contradict this belief, they just fall even deeper into this midset, making the reality very heavy.

The point I want to make is, use your power of belief to create the reality you want to live, and try to question the negative beliefs if they are indeed your own chosen beliefs or somebody else's. That's how you can be conscious of your beliefs and use the positive ones to your advantage and excel at life.
