by Zahara MatovuDo you also feel like the world is moving so fast? What could be the reason? I think that we are apparently living in a life of immediate gratification.
What is immediate gratification? We see it everywhere with the most obvious being online shopping. No energy to go to the supermarket, you buy what you want/need online and the next day or within a few days, it's deliverd right at your door. No time to cook, you order take away, miss someone, just a text away, looking for more information about something, google and AI, etc. That's immediate gratification, you need something, you get it almost immediatly or in a short period of time today compared to our ancestors.
All that is very nice, fun and efficient, however, somethings can't be rushed. For example getting the body you want, creating a succesful career/business/life, overcoming a trauma, getting rid of a habit, stress, burn-out and so on takes time, consistency and dedication.
Goals require consciously taking action in order to follow through and to get what you want. Do you need guidence while going through the situations that take time to tackel, then you should consider coaching.
