by Zahara MatovuGiving up is often seen as failure. However, sometimes giving up can be good. For example, if you come to a realization that what you're doing is not adding to your future plans, or you don't see yourself doing it in the future, then I think it's good to consider giving up. After I tried every way possible to get into a university inorder to study medicine, I eventually powerlessly gave up. I don't regret giving up on this dream after I became aware of the reality of a doctor's qualities and tasks. I fortunately knew myself good enough to stop chasing this dream. It didn't comply with my future dream of creating a peaceful, loving family, in my opinion, it requires lots of energy and time which I was not willing to offer at the price of my peace. I am already more peaceful after letting go of that dream. So, eventhough not giving up is the road to succes, but also be aware of when to give up in order to succeed too. Give up the bad habits that are hurting your being, give up the anxiety, the worry, the constant stress that is not adding to your mental health by coaching with me.
