by Lyndsey O'ConnorHAPPY FRIDAY!
10 LITTLE HABITS FOR A HAPPIER, HEALTHIER YOU! ????
It's Friday, the weekend is calling, and what better time to give ourselves a little reminder that looking after ourselves doesn't have to be complicated!
Sometimes it's the little things we do every day that make the BIGGEST difference! ?
Here are my 10 favourite healthy habits to help you feel good, think positively and enjoy life a little more!
1. Wake up with a positive thought – A new day, a fresh start and another opportunity to make it a good one!
2. Get those steps in – Walk, dance, stretch… whatever gets you moving! Bonus points if there's music involved! ????
3. Drink more water – Your body and brain will thank you!
4. Eat the rainbow – Fuel your body with good food, but don't forget to enjoy that Friday treat too! ????
5. Have a good laugh – Life is serious enough. Find something that makes you smile!
6. Put your phone down – Stop scrolling and start living in the moment!
7. Find something to be grateful for – Even on the toughest days, there's usually something worth appreciating.
8. Be kind to yourself – Stop being your own biggest critic and start being your biggest cheerleader! ????
9. Learn to say NO – You can't pour from an empty cup. Protect your time and energy!
10. Rest without feeling guilty – You don't have to be productive every minute of every day. Sometimes doing absolutely NOTHING is exactly what you need!
And here's the best bit…
You don't have to do all 10 perfectly!
Start small, have fun and remember that progress beats perfection EVERY time.
A happier, healthier life isn't built in a day. It's built through the little choices we make every day.
So here's to a fabulous Friday, a wonderful weekend and making a little more time for YOU!
Which healthy habit is your favourite? Or have you got one to add to my list?
