I’m Alex and I am a trainee coach, here to help people to get more out of life but feel stuck or unsure on the path to get there.
MY STORY TO COACHING
I was an over achiever which meant I worked crazy hard to achieve, what I thought, was the definition of success at my corporate job. I thought this was making me “happy”, affording me the things I never had growing up in a single parent household. So why did I still feel unhappy and stuck?
For the last 12 years I have worked at a financial company as a Senior Project Manager which has been a mix of absolutely loving my job and wanting to climb the ladder, to feeling utterly burnt out and stressed! Thankfully I received coaching through work which helped me recognise why I felt burnout and stressed all the time but also helped me set new & exciting goals that aligned with who I am as an individual and not what I thought I “should” be doing.
I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grew up, I don’t think most of us do when we’re asked this question as we leave the comfort and safety of school. My own experience through coaching helped me realise that my passion & energy comes alive when I am working closely with people, and the best part of my job was coaching my team to become high performers.
I made a decision then to embark on my own coaching journey to help others to fulfil their potential and achieve a measure of success that aligns with their core values and desires.
Like all of us, I have been on my own journey through life meaning I understand and can coach on:
• Regaining power over busy work/personal commitments
• Mastering public speaking and presenting at work
• Developing a new skillset
• Starting your health & fitness journey or wanting to take up a new sport
• Managing difficult family relationships & people pleasing behaviour
• Rebuilding or quitting your relationship with alcohol

HOW IT WORKS
I’m a coach in training at The Coaching Academy which is ICF (International Coaching Federation) accredited and I am offering free coaching sessions to a limited number of people.
If you have read this far and decided that you are interested in working together, I hope you will reach out to me on Coach Me Free and we can set up an initial intake session.
• The first session will be 45 minutes long so we can get to know one and other
• Each session after that will be 30 minutes.
• All sessions are done in a safe and non-judgemental environment via video call.
