About Me

Hello, I'm Susan!

Let me introduce myself.

I have been a teacher all my working life, starting my career in the primary sector, before moving to the role of childcare and education college lecturer.

For the last few years I have worked within the Organisational Development and Human Resources department, supporting staff to gain teaching and assessor qualifications. It is an absolute pleasure to observe a staff member with their class and then take part in a professional discussion, so the individual can reassured of the approaches they are doing well, and can be motivated to add to their 'teacher's toolkit'.

More recently I have become an internal coach with the College where I support staff across the academic faculties and professional services so they can make desired changes in their lives. I find they can move forward with clarity and optimism after engaging in coaching. Facilitating other people's professional and personal growth is such a satisfying process.

I am a member of the International Coaching Federation, the British Psychological Society and am fully registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland.

My personal journey has led me to become a Reiki Master and give of my own time to share reiki treatments with college colleagues as part of the college wellbeing initiative.

I am also a Certified Happiness Facilitator. This training allows me to adopt positive psychology approaches to empower people to improve their own wellbeing.

I notice that people often say I am calm, patient, inspiring, supportive, an empathetic listener, positive, friendly and genuine.

In my spare time, I love visiting art galleries, walking my two dogs and being out in nature.

We can arrange a chemistry call to find out if we are well-matched for coaching.

I am pleased to offer the first coaching session absolutely free.

Should you wish to book additional sessions, my cost is £50 per session.

I look forward to working with you!
